i have always loved this time of the year. not particularly for the presents, well, used to love christmas for that reason when i was younger (i bet you too, huh? hehee). i celebrated christmas cause it's a public holiday, cause everyone is celebrating it, cause there're parties everywhere! but as i grow with age and spiritually, i began to realize i'm falling in love with christmas all over again for a total different reason. i'm actually celebrating christmas cause it's the day Jesus was born. and i'm loving christmas cause it's purely the season of joy, love and faith and the smiles of people everywhere. i've always love buying presents but this year, i decided to make a change. i hand-made all my little gifts for friends in church. went hunting for the best material, the best color, the best choice, despite the lack of time and sleep and i'm not whining. i just want to give the best i can. tho its just a simple plain looking gift, i really wish it could make em feel loved and drunk? hehee and no, i wont say that i'm sweet or curtious. i'm just.. me with alot of time? o.O
right, enough bout gifts and thoughts of christmas. hmph.. it's the anticipated time of the year and what have i done? quite a lot i would say :)
on the eve of Christmas, i attended xmas svc and brought Hannah, my house mate along. service was awesome and the whole place was crowded! Hannah gave herself back to God again and i'm very proud of her, and myself cause she's my first baby. and i really pray the best for her in believing in Him. after svc we went dinner at kopitiam with Howard. i had morning flight rpt 1045hrs so couldn't go anywhere. Hannah and I just chill at Starbucks, Tampines til about 1 something am. her friend jio-ed her to Zouk and she successfully convinced me to join her. it's xmas eve, ah why not? we left home close to 2am to Zouk and we were there till the club closes! we drank, we danced, we laughed, we hogged the toilet cubicle. clubbing till wee hours in the morning just don't sound abit like me huh? :) i'm just doing it cause it's xmas eve. it was exhilarating to me, the part that i went to work LATE with 3 hrs of conscious sleep prior TT
finished the flight late evening. went out for christmas dinner with Ben. after dinner we watched Alvin and the Chipmunks Two together with MaoShun.

came back home to wrap the presents i've got for friends. my wrapping theme for this year is reuse and recycle. heehee. watched His and Her Christmas and The Perfect Man on TV.
i would say i've spent my christmas this year in a satisfying manner. well at least i'm not by myself on Christmas day. and it's only the beginning of twelve days of xmas :) and owh i received my first Xmas present and a card that travelled miles by air!
