right, let me recap what have i done last week..?

Monday

touched down Singapore early in the morning, caught the next available flight back to Penang! loves. Elaine (my elder sis if you've not known by now) picked me up from the airport, together with Leslie (her boyf) and AhYing (my younger sis). intended to treat them Smoky Jack for lunch but plan failed cause it seems lunch has already been prepared at home. i was expecting all my fav foodies for lunch, BUT sadly, let me just put it this way. the least interesting home cooked food still beats outside food. we went out shortly after for assam laksa! woooh i likey!

Tuesday

paid respect to my Mum around noon in conjunction with QingMing. nevertheless, we had family talk while waiting. we were all laughing at my Dad's joke cum lecture arrowing at my brother. i tell you, my Dad's pro at that. came back home had lunch with family. we had 2 available hotel rooms in Berjaya Hotel (long story) so Elaine, Leslie, AhYing and I packed our gears and head on to Penang island in 2 separate cars, only to find out that due to some internal errors the reservation couldn't be found in their system. well, that didn't ruin our overnight food hunting plans cause Leslie decided to subsidized our night stay in Penang! yays cheers for Leslie. lols. we called each and every hotels around Bt Ferringhi and Tg Bungah aiming at their lowest rate and settled for Corpthorne Orchid Hotel, by Millenium. i wasn't physically hyped up tho, the headache i had the entire day almost killed me literally. thank God for Panadol Actifast! anyway we had seafood along Bt Ferringhi beach prior to check-in. call me and i'll bring you guys there!!

after the sumptuous seafood dinner, we checked in at the hotel and freshen up alil before heading out again for light entertainment. that night we visited..

Wednesday

we checked out at noon. our initial plan to have breakfast at Campbell St (famous steam bread and butter coffee) was cancelled, as presumed cause we couldn't wake up in time. heehee. but to make up for that, we had lunch in Smoky Jack in UPR! i love their ribs! and, and it's much cheaper during lunch hours! yes, discounted/free food excites me. big smiles.

after lunch we parted our own ways cause Elaine and Leslie had some appts whereas me and AhYing wanted to go shopping and movie at Gurney. How to Train you Dragon 3D pretty awesome eventhough both of us had a hard time watching. erms.. thanks to our 'petite' button mushroom nose, we had to support the 3D glasses throughout. we had tomyam noodle for teatime at SiamExpress. the tomyam, power. hungry.

drove back to BM late evening, hang around in Sunway Carnival Mall, then picked up my GrandMa for dinner at some random Thai restaurant. by now you should have realized my entire family are suckers for spicy food, esp Thai cuisine :))

Thursday

Elaine and boyf left for KL very early in the morning. AhYing went to school, so i practically did nothing much first half of the day. as soon as sis got home, we went or for laksa (again). this time at her favourite shop. my brother decided to join us, accompanied by his bunch of friends. and you know what, my tall and skinny sis can actually whack 2 bowls of laksa! i wonder where did all the digested food goes. she's still as skinny as ever. we pampered ourselves with mani&pedi after. rushed home to catch my flight back to Singapore, this time my Dad sent me to the airport. arrived Singapore past midnight.

Friday

i took MC from my REACT training. don't ask how/why. took the opportunity of my off day to scout for rooms. well, i managed to grab hold of one, within the first two hours of my room hunt. i'll be staying in a master bedroom S$750 inclusive of bills and internet, with a small christian family. a couple and 10 yrs old boy. well, i can perceive that they're easy going, not that ngiau (calculative). i have to live under one house rule tho, no guys are allowed into the room/stayover O.O speechless. it's not that i'm against it, but i just find it humorous in a way that i felt like i'm their daughter. heehee.

woke up early for church. was a little bit over excited cause i miss CHC! i've been away for like 2 weeks and i missed Easter Svc. do you know how excited i was. i ironed my dress and cardigan the night before! for those who don't know me well enough, i don't iron my clothes till minutes before i donned it. smiles. anyway, much of my excitement, i actually had quite a rough morning. waited like forever to catch a cab, and when i finally grab hold of one, it was filled with ciggy smoke! if it wasn't for the opened window, which i had to wind down myself, i would have suffocated halfway there. and apart from that, the taxi uncle took the furthest route to Expo TT i just hold my peace and not to comment cause i didn't want to ruin my morning.

but guess what, first the taxi uncle almost suffocated me, then decided to cheat my money, then he tried to..

click on the photo for a clearer view. i now believe that Volkswagen cars are good investment! hard and durable. the impact was so hard on the taxi (i still could't figure out how the front right type punctured) yet only the Beetle's front lights smashed and the front bumper dented.

his recklessness caused a big commotion at the cross junction. thank God the passengers and the baby in the Beetle weren't hurt. we exchanged numbers just in case they needed my statement against him. the lady and i were both shaking while trying very hard to key in the numbers in our phones. my mind was all over the shop i tell you. the funny thing was, i could only hear my subconscious mind primed me this "quickly get into another cab. you're late!" i didn't even check if i was hurt. LoL. it took me another 'good' 10mins for a vacant cab. well, i still made it for svc, only 20 mins late! wooh praise the Lord. was huffing and puffing and still shaking when i reached. guess the presence of God just calmed me down :)) and i didn't say a word to my cg members, cause i didn't want the extra attention. i'll get intimidated by that.

so yah, that was my Sunday morning! went lunch with few of my cg friends. Clash of the Titans with Jesslyn in the afternoon. loves.

I woke up very early today, with bad aches on the side of my upper left arm. couldn't lift up my arm entirely, felt like muscle ache. i think the inertia caused me to hit the left door pretty hard. didn't even feel a single thing yesterday. i suspect that my body system is a bit lagging. slow reactions. kekeke.. i still went for my A380 service training. it's still aching alil now, hope it gets better tomorrow. by faith, it will! :)

and for tomorrow, i'll be doing Saigon turnaround. Wednesday off day, time to tapao all my barang-barang in boxes to be shifted. Going Melbourne on Thursday, back on Saturday early morning. time to hit the bed, close to 4am now. you have a blessed week ahead alright! big smiles.
